The Partnership

A unique collaboration has created the Ed-Data website to offer educators, policy makers, the legislature, parents, and the public quick access to timely and comprehensive data about K-12 education in California. The Education Data Partnership provides a significant tool to access information and improve decision making in managing education's resources.

The Alameda County Office of Education is a leader in the use of technology, particularly through the Bay Area Education Network (BAENet) that connects Alameda County student services with school districts and other participating counties. ACOE is responsible for the design, operation, and maintenance of the Ed-Data site and provides the computer expertise and hardware to set up and handle the vast amount of data.
